Archetypes for Intuitive Development
Plato called archetypes“forms of intuition … templates of intuitive understanding”.

Archetypes for Intuitive Development in Dreams
When we dream, for example, our subconscious will use archetypes to help us heal, understand ourselves better, manifest goals and solve problems.
If you are questioning the power of archetypes I suggest you request a solution to a problem you have before going to bed to sleep.
Then when you wake up immediately write down anything you remember from your dreams. You will find your subconscious was using at least one archetype (symbol) to help you get an answer.
In a dream recently that I had, my subconscious used the archetype of a car to help me see where I had been blocked in reaching a goal I had.
A car symbolizes mobility, getting somewhere., therefore, when used in a dream could symbolize my going somewhere in life, reaching a goal, etc.
I immediately realized from this dream the wrong choices I had made. These choices were preventing me from reaching a deep rooted soul desire I had for this lifetime.
When saw the connection, I was empowered to make a more conscious choice in how I use my time and what I was working to create.
Archetypes therefore are simply symbols. They are constantly changing. In the past a horse drawn carriage could be used instead of a car.
How to Use Archetypes for Intuitive Development To Get an Answer for Yourself.
In this exercise we will access the magic of archetypes using Tarot cards to obtain messages for yourself of another.
Steps
CHOOSE PARTNER. Choose a person you want to practice with. Write down this person’s name. (You can do this for yourself too.)
MEDITATE. Play some calming meditation music. Here is one I like which is specifically designed to invoke a more psychic state.
CHOOSE ARCHETYPE. Repeat this person’s name three times to yourself. Ask spirit to lead you to the perfect card for this person. Then pick a card from an online tarot deck for this person, or use your own deck to choose a card.

MAGIC. Meditate on the meaning of this card for the person you chose. You can use the written meaning of the card as a starting point, but then allow your intuition to guide you to the magic of archetypes where the perfect message resides!
