MEDIUMSHIP PROOF of the AFTERLIFE. At times a session is so extraordinary even the medium is in awe. This is a story of a grief counselor’s journey.

I know this is going to sound strange, but at time, when I am feeling rather 3D, I wonder if the afterlife is real.
Then I have a couple of mediumship sessions that make the hair on the back of my neck stand up.
Last week I had one such session.
I was doing a Voices Across the Veil Research Mediumship Session. This session was setup for a lovely lady who appeared innocuous enough.
I have no idea who I am working with when I do these sessions. I can see the sitter via a webinar, but all I get is their first name. I don’t even know where in the world they reside.
So there she sat in front of me in the webinar appearing mature, kind and professional.
I made a connection and brought in her grandmother on her father’s side, her mother and her father.
I was glad I had brought in souls she recognized and I felt complete. I thought this had been a good session.
As a courtesy I asked if she had any questions before we ended her time. She said, “Do you see any adolescents?”
I asked, “You mean in spirit?” Obviously I was confused as I thought spirit had provided her a good sitting.
I had seen a younger male to her earlier in the session, but she denied having any younger male person she knew in spirit.
She had no children of her own in spirit and did not make the connection then.
Leaving a Space for Spirit to Speak.
So I did what spirit has trained me to do. I sat still, became very neutral to allow spirit a space to present what else might be there.
Slowly in a mist of fog I began to see the outline of a young teenage male. He started talking to me about a fire and lots of smoke around him.
He said my sitter was with his mother when this happened. I interpreted that to mean exactly at the time of the fire his mother was with my sitter, but learned later he meant around the time of this event his mother and my sitter had communication.
The boy in spirit began to explain how there was a fire, lots of smoke. He had led everyone into a room and closed the door.
I asked the sitter, “Would you understand a boy with other children consumed by smoke?”
The sitter said, “Yes.”
I continued with what the boy in spirit told me. “We huddled together on the floor to avoid the smoke. We were scared.”
He said, “There had been no suffering for him and the other children as we were overcome with smoke inhalation and passed out.”
I saw him more clearly now. He appeared African American.
I asked the sitter, “Would you understand this boy to be African American?”
She said, “Yes.” The sitter was Caucasian.
He said at first they did not know what had happened when they died. They were lost for a long time, like a period of what seemed to be days to weeks to him.
Then a white light opened up and they were pulled into it.
He said now they are in a safe, beautiful, heavenly place and others take care of him there.
As he said this, I had a feeling of poignant beauty, sadness and happiness all rolled into one feeling.
My face flushed. My eyes teared up. I dropped a tear or two.
The sitter finally revealed she was a grief counselor. She had counseled his mother 30 years ago after the loss of him and her other children in this fire.
This mother was the very first patient she had ever worked with as a grief counselor!
The first one!
When the session ended I, the researcher and the sitter were all in a daze.
Here is what Dr. Grega of Voices Across the Veil wrote about our session afterwards.
Dennis Grega | Extraordinary Session |
When this type of session occurs I begin to SEE how real this is.
I am not sure why this session made it more real to me than any others.
Perhaps it was the obscurity of connection, the poignancy of feeling behind it, the tragedy of the loss, the sadness of the mother. the effort of the grief counselor.
Not sure of why. But am sure this is VERY REAL!
There are times when spirit does not present so clearly, or communicate so perfectly. There are so many components to making a great connection.
It is always important to understand even with the most skilled mediums at time spirit does not appear or the connection is weak.
You, as a possible sitter, can help make the connection as clear as possible by being open during your session.
Simply relax and enjoy the exploration.
If you try to control who you want to speak with or what piece of evidence you must have to believe the medium, you will most likely block your connection, ruining your experience.
But even with the best environment spirit at times does not provide the connection.
Connections are sacred experiences, miracles, actually. Each time I experience a successful connection I am in awe.
Namaste,
