INSPIRATION:  How to Shift from S-A-D (Sad, Alone & Depressed) to Happy Me

Ah, the ugly three, S-A-D, Sad, Alone & Depressed.  We have all experienced these conditions if we are on earth, but no one likes to admit they feel this when when they do and no one likes to talk to us when we feel this way.  It is taboo.  So we feel very alone when we are sad.

So how do you shift from S-A-D to Happy Me when it strikes on your door?  How do you reenter the blissful realm of INSPIRATION?

Here are a few easy ways to shift you back to INSPIRATION.

1.  WALK.  Every time I take a walk I shift to refreshed, renewed and inspired.  Even better is to vigorously dance to music, play a sport or exercise, especially if skill is required.  It is really difficult to stay sad when you are moving around in a focused way.

Most of you have heard about the endorphin effect, but did you ever think of FLOW?  When you move with focused skill, you enter a Zen like state called flow, guaranteed to shift you from sadness to super.

2.  SING.  Yep you heard me right.  It is impossible to stay in SAD when you sing.  As a matter of fact, if you want to lead an inspired life take up singing as a hobby.  It is sure to INSPIRE you.

Even the worst voice can be developed to properly BREATHE, so singing can happen, so you can’t say, “I can’t sing,” as an excuse.  :)

The breathe, my dear friend, is the key to INSPIRATION.  When you breath you are taking in spirit.  Spirit is source, which is inspiration.

3.  MEDITATE.  Since we are on the subject of breath, focusing on your breath in meditation is another way to shake the blues.  When depressed, meditate by focusing on your breathe for at least 15 minutes and you will find your mind will enter a blissful realm.

4.  CREATE.  One of my most favorite things to do is write.  As well, I love to go thrift shopping.  There I rummage through second hand stuff, looking for the next potential of discarded goods, to create something new, fresh, alive.

The very essence of INSPIRATION is creation.  So if you ever had a hankering to do something creative, now is the time to start.

A word about creativity.  I have had clients say to me they are not creative.  My response to them is, everyone on earth is creative.  The very nature of the human genome is adaptability.  Being adaptable is being creative.

So if you ever, ever, ever got it into your head, perhaps from some negative comment someone made about you in the past, that you are not creative, remember Spirit Medium Laura said that was crap!

EVERYONE IS CREATIVE.  Creativity is problem solving.  Just think of a problem you or someone else has, then set about to CREATE a solution to it from known and to be discovered resources.  You will quickly feel INSPIRATION, and finally realize your own divine creative nature.

6.. HELP SOMEONE.  So now you know you are creative.  The next step is to apply your ability to solve problems to help someone else.  One of the best ways around to feel INSPIRATION is to help a friend in need, volunteer for an organization you like (if use of your unique skills and problem solving is involved), bake cookies and bring them to a lonely neighbor, teach someone a skill you have.

The potential for feeling INSPIRATION is limitless when you take the emphasis off yourself to give to someone in need.

Well, there you have it.  Some readily accessible ways to shift from S-A-D to Happy Me to feel INSPIRATION.
