FINDING YOUR SOUL MATE: Even a Fortune Cookie Can Be Synchronistic
As I finished up too much whining with too much Chinese food and wine Friday night, these fortune cookie messages appeared.
I was a bit awed at the synchronicity of the messages, as I had given up hope.
After years of suffering over the loss of my soul mate, he finally left his faux fiance to return to me.
Then after he left her he remained cold, distant and confusingly detached from me.
Finally on Thursday night I asked him why he did not ask me out on a date. He gave me a few excuses which did make sense and we left it at that.
He needed time.
Now in the past before I got my power back, I would have not been able to ask him why he did not ask me on a date. I would have been too insecure about whether he liked me or not.
I would not have been able to be calm and accept what he said. I would have argued with him. This would have created further problems in our communication because I WAS NOT IN TOUCH WITH MY OWN POWER.
When you have your own power, your purpose, relationships become easier. There are less buttons within you to push to set you off.
The less buttons the more LOVE. You love yourself more. You love others more. You are no longer threatened by others. Very simple
Isn’t it funny how spirit sets up our lessons? You can fight them every step of the way, but your lessons are lined up for you.
If you don’t get them this life time. You will be handed them the next.
Learning how to eliminate your toxic buttons of incompletion are the lessons.
How do we do this? By remembering our authentic self, our divine essence, who we are. Once you do your power is awakened, your miracles evidence and your synchronicities abound.
So accept his answer I did. If that is how he feels then this is how it is. Has nothing to do with my being lovable to him. It is simply what he needs.
I don’t take it personally. I still feel lonely, but I can deal with it.
So to amuse myself that lonely evening I went out for a walk. As I walked my phone rang. It was a girlfriend of mine who had accidentally run into my soul mate.
He asked my girlfriend where I was and she called me. I thought that a strange coincidence, but said little to her about my current state of affairs.
The next morning I received a text from my soul mate. He asked me out on a date!
What does all of this mean? Why do I bother to tell the story?
Because when we align with our inner core, our power, we stop trying to control things. We simply ask for what we want from a soul level, not an ego fear level.
Then spirit goes to work for us.
If it is on our path it happens. If it does not, we are led to our divine destiny, something better.
