I cannot rave enough about being able to experience sleep in a restorative way again!  Feel like a teenager again!  I even feel my IQ has improved because I now get good sleep!

The essential oils good for sleep include

Young Living:  Tangerine, orange, ylang ylang, patchouli, german chamomile, vetiver, cistus, bergamot, cassia, davana, northern lights, black spruce.  More info HERE.

This morning I awoke thinking about how many people spoke to me in the last 24 hours about not getting enough sleep.  I too have the issue of not being able to sleep.

My remedy was straightforward.  I started taking Sleep MD.  It works most of the time, but the downside is I still awake during middle of night for hours of sleeplessness.  As well, I feel foggy and sleepy all the next day.

Yellow and White FlowerIt does contain Melatonin, a hormone that diminishes with age.  Melatonin is not desirable for many people.

Some report they cannot take it either because of autoimmune disease, getting a headache and one friend of mine said she believed her brother committed suicide because he was taking too much melatonin for sleep!

Yikes!

I looked this up and found these claims supported.  Medical studies have shown many negative side effects from melatonin.  (Livestrong.)

In the last 24 hours my sister spoke about her lack of sleep, my girlfriend sounded desperate and will call me today to come up with a strategy for her lack of sleep, and then on Facebook, a post from a client appeared.

“Cant stay sleeping.im exhausted.”  I quote this exactly so you can see she really is exhausted.

Patti recently lost her husband to an unexpected heart attack.  So besides just the normal effects of aging on sleep, she is experiencing depression and anxiety.

For some reason as I awoke this morning I had an intuitive insight.  I need to tell Patti about Essential Oils Good For Sleep.  I had this idea that perhaps an essential oil exists for sleep.

Sure enough when I went to Amazon, I found several.  The only one I can recommend is by Plant Therapy due to the integrity of the company, product and price.
