HOW TO MEDITATE: Melt away conflict with meditation
Why is meditation so important? Because it is the first step to living at a higher vibration, the frequency of miracles, as outlined in the Soul Abundance course, Let Go in meditation.
When you meditate on a regular basis problems in your life melt away. The reason is you are shifting from fear to love, merging with cosmic consciousness.
Meditation is the ultimate Let Go Let God remedy.
Here is a video explaining how to do mindful meditation. Although it says to not use a mantra, I do feel using a mantra enhances the meditation experience, as well as, allows you to co-create with universal intelligence, cosmic mind. Go HERE.
If you were to do nothing else in your life but regular meditation, you would want for nothing! Your life would transform to the miraculous!
Here are the HOW TO MEDITATE steps I recommend.
- Sit in a comfortable position, spine straight, eyes closed. Hands can be gently interlocked or flat palms down or up on your thighs.
- Focus your attention on your natural breathe. Do not force it.
- Choose a mantra for the day to use to follow the breath. I use I AM LOVE, I AM HEALTH and/or I AM WEALTH, or other ones depending on what is relevant to me at the time.
- As you inhale repeat your mantra. As you exhale repeat your mantra. Simple repeat the mantra. Do not think about what it means.
- When a thought comes in, simply observe it, sending it away.
- Soon (within seconds to minutes) you will begin to feel a blissful. This is cosmic intelligence, your reward for doing meditation.
- Continue to do this for as long as practical for you. It is best to do the number of minutes of your age in one sitting. So if you are 45 years old, you do it for 45 minutes. You can start with a shorter period of time like 5 to 10 minutes at first, building up to longer periods of time. It is important to do some meditation each day, so if you need to make it short, at least make it effective.

I learned how to do this from a Center for Spiritual Living (formerly Science of Mind) Minister. I went every week for about 6 weeks. He started me on 5 minutes. Then built me up to about 30 minutes, each week asking how I was doing and telling me I had to do more.
I went to him because I had a BIG problem at work. My new manager seemed to “have it in for me,” micromanaging my every step, my every move, as if I did not know what I was doing. Mind you, I had been doing the job I was in for over 6 years, always with stellar performance reviews from prior managers.
This got me “crazy” with fear. If I lost my job I would lose stock options I had worked so hard to cultivate. I would lose everything I had worked to achieve monetarily.
I was a bit frantic, to say the least. When I went to the minister and all he did was teach me to meditate, I thought either he is or I am crazy. However, I did not know what else to do, so I did it.
Then what happened was, over time, my fears began to dissipate. Nothing had changed in my job, I just got relaxed. Nothing seemed to bother me anymore. I became happy, even though my outside world had not changed.
Suddenly one day, my manager was transferred to a new position within the company. GOD BLESS ME! I was elated, but not that much more elated, because I was already meditating.
Meditation makes you happy no matter what happens!
So if you have not tried or do not do mindful meditation, you owe it to yourself to do it. Your life will get much, much better!

Here are my comments about mantra meditation, including transcendental meditation (which claims it is different from mantra meditation, but does use a mantra).
HOW TO MEDITATE – TRANSCENDENTAL MEDITATION. I do not recommend Transcendental Meditation, due to its price, claims and cult like flavor. (Here is just one article outlining why I say this. Go HERE.) I consider it a form of mantra meditation, however, they claim it is different.
While TM requires a mantra have no particular meaning to you, their mantras actually do have meanings. If you go to youtube.com you will find many mantras that are the names of Gods or Goddesses standing for something you might want in your life: love, protection, prosperity, etc.
HOW TO MEDITATE – TRANSCENDENTAL MEDITATION ALTERNATIVE. Natural Stress Relief, founded by former TM Certified Instructors is a good alternative to TM for a mantra meditation. The former TM instructors who founded it were appalled at the rising costs to learn TM. Go HERE.

I have combined manifesting with meditation explained on this page HERE. Meditation is the perfect way to manifest anything you want! This is because you are letting go of trying to control outcome so your cosmic GOD flow (Guidance, Opportunities and Destiny) can begin. You have to let go to flow!
As well, during meditation you can set intention for what you want in your life. The universe is always listening to our intentions and creating our experience based on them (ref. “The Intention Experiment: Using Your Thoughts to Create Your Life and Change the World,” by Lynn McTaggart).
