This week I got sick again. This is a big deal for me because I thought I finally had found a way to stop getting recurring virulent upper respiratory infections.

I had to cancel and reschedule each of them, at once embarrassed and disappointed at my inability to serve.

Even though I took a cough remedy I was still awakened at 2am from a wave of violent coughing. I was miserable, gargling with salt water.

Amazingly, the water helped. I felt a calm, coolness in my throat I had not had before.
