How to Overcome Fear

How to Overcome Fear. What you fear most will most probably be followed by what you love. The cycle of life is feast to famine to feast.

This is a great time of year to remind ourselves of this. We hope what was wrong now has a chance to change to what is right, as the new year arrives.

We can trust in this because nothing ever stays the same.

This morning as I watch the financial news fear is everywhere. The new strain of Covid is bringing the world to a fearful halt.

So how do you overcome your fear of

  1. Losing your retirement money as the stock market crashes.
  2. Getting sick with a virus that can kill you.
  3. Losing your job because of business shut downs
  4. Losing money as inflation looms.
  5. Having no chance to visit with friends and family.
  6. Feeling lonely.
  7. Getting depressed.
  8. Etc.

Realize what you fear is part of the bigger picture. Feast follows famine and vice versa.

How do you overcome fear?

The most important step to overcome fear is to realize that life is a continuous roller coaster. The financial markets are such a great example of this.

I call them bi-polar.

Some months the stock market is crashing. Some months it is partying.

Up and down. Up and down.

If someone could learn how to take advantage of the down times in the market by buying up all the stocks in the midst of fear, this person would most certainly become a millionaire.

There are many billionaires who have and do this now. Peter Lynch, Warren Buffett and maybe you?

Isn’t life this way?

Up and down.

Some months or years you are riding high. Other times you are falling low.

Nothing remains the same.

A technique to help you overcome fear is to explore what you are afraid of and what is the worst thing that can happen.

Once you get it out in the open you can visualize its opposite. This can on a surface level help you manage fear.

How to Overcome Fear Steps

  1. Write down your list of what you fear the most.

2. Then next to this list write down the opposite of this fear.

Ex. I fear losing all my retirement money in a stock market crash. I make millions of dollars from stock market crashes.

3. Create a visualization of the opposite to what you fear. This should be done on a daily basis. See yourself having the opposite of what you fear.

4. Realize what you fear is part of the bigger picture. Feast follows famine and vice versa.

What you fear is just a part of the system of life. Nothing can stay the same. Everything is in flux.

What you fear will most assuredly be followed with what you love!

On a spiritual level fear is our friend to evolve. We as souls chose to incarnate to the astral realm of fear, where we experience the illusion of not having that which we believe we need to survive.

When you look at the bigger picture, if you believe there is a spiritual realm, you realize there is nothing to be feared, life continues in other dimensions.

Nothing every ends or is lost.

So fear is ultimately our friend to birth our soulful self, our spiritual side and our love filled nature.

Sending blasts of love to everyone.
