How to Get Unstuck. Feeling blocked, lost, stuck? Here is easy method to find yourself, retain your clarity and get unstuck.
This morning an author was being interviewed on TV about her new book about feeling stuck, lost and blocked. As I realized this is a huge problem for many, I heard the words (from spirit), “TAKE A BREAK.”
Then I realized taking a break is probably one of the most powerful things you can do when you are feeling stuck.
Of course, the first thing that happens when we feel stuck is a feeling like you must get unstuck right away.
BUT! Being stuck is a useful place to be. It is a powerful way to let go of the past, then realize what works for you now.
Getting stuck can be clearing!
So how does one take a break from life for a while and simply stay in the space of being empty without feeling uncomfortable?
It really is very uncomfortable to feel stuck. Yes, it is natural to want to be back in the place of passionate engagement in life, what you used to do and what used to work.
But you got stuck for a really great reason. Spirit is placing you on a new path or adjusting the path you are currently on.
Maybe your soul wanted you to clear your weaknesses, emptiness, your dark side, the part of you that seems incomplete, lost, alone, afraid.
Whatever the reason for being stuck can only be fixed by taking a break.
So what is a break supposed to look like?
It needs to be a time when you do only the things you feel like doing. This is like when you have a fever you might not want to eat. Your body is healing itself and needs all its energy to do that.
So it is with spiritual health. When we take a break from life, and sooth our self with nurturing activities, we can heal. Only by taking a break can we clear the past, to make way for the future.
So take a break.
Do what appeals to you even if it is watching marathon episodes of your favorite TV series.
Resistance to Taking a Break
Perhaps you might feel the only way to take a break is to let go of people who no longer fit you. However being alone scares you because you do not want to be lonely.
But being alone life is powerful way to take a break. It is time for you to explore things that you like, define yourself more, become more of who you are.
Journaling
Journaling can be a powerful tool during this break time. Sit with a journal best in the morning during your first hour of waking time.
Journal about what you do not like about your life, your self and whatever else is bothering you. Get it out of your system.
Purge.
Then Journal on things you think you want, need and desire, without trying to fix anything.
This is a purging process.
As an English Literature major in college I learned the underrated power of journaling. Journaling is a way to reconnect to yourself.
Journaling is a way to connect to your higher self, your spiritual guidance system, and beings.
Without even trying to do this, journaling in your own hand writing (not on a computer, tablet or phone) can help you access your deeper self.
Something happens during a journaling session where you feel like your guides stepped in and they are working with you on solving your issues with you.
So when you feel stuck do this.
- Take a break from life.
- Journal
Soon you will find new things start growing, cropping up and becoming. You did what you had to do to clear the past.
You allowed yourself to purge by taking a break.
You listened to yourself by journaling.
Suddenly a new wave of you opens up. New passion, friendships, activities and creativity emerge.
But you had to take a break to get there.
