LAW OF ATTRACTION SECRET:  Law of Non-Resistance.  This story illustrates how remaining calm in a situation, rather than resisting it in a tirade of tantrums can allow spirit to work for you, leading and guiding you along in the miracle force of a higher power. 

Recently my radio show (learn about show by joining mailing list at top right of this page), has been causing me a bit of trouble.  Each time I host it I get disconnected at least a couple of times and always am not heard very well by the listeners.  I read somewhere that if you use WiFi to connect to an internet radio show as the host, you would find interference, which breaks connection to the internet.

So I set out to improve my Internet connection, as I had been using my generous neighbor’s WiFi at his invitation.  When I called my radio show host provider, they suggested it was my download speed, not the direct cable that was in question. 

(Since the writing of this article I went to my internet radio show’s support site and found they do recommend a direct connect to the Internet, for best sound quality.  They say NOTHING about speed of connection there.  So apparently I had gotten through to a technician that was not properly trained.  This is where the first odd turn in the road occurred.)

So I called my cable provider, Comcast, to order the fastest speed I could find.  Arrangements were made for me to pick the modem up directly at a local Comcast office.

When I arrived the next day I was told by the Customer Service Rep they had no more modems left.  I thought that odd, since I had been led to believe I had ordered one to be there.  OK, I thought, “Maybe I misunderstood, but I had not been told this could happen.”

I waited with great trepidation as I did not have much time to get back to this office.  The representative finalled emerged from the back room with a modem for me.  “Whew!” I thought. 

Then the rep then told me I had been charged for delivery and that since I picked it up, this was incorrect.  He told me to call billing as he had no power to change this.  (Huh?)  “OK,” I thought, “I won’t get upset.  I will just call.”

When I called I was told there was no delivery charge, but there was a much more expensive installation charge. “Really?”  I thought.  The rep could not change that so I had to call back in a few days.

The next day I called billing to find out if they could remove the installation charge yet.  The agent said I was not being billed for installation, but was being billed for delivery of the modem and that was the way it should have been.  I balked at this.  Made no sense to pay for a delivery of something I picked up myself and the first rep had said so too. 

Agent said to take care of it when you actually get your bill, which won’t happen (took him about 15 minutes to figure this out) until June.  Was early May when this happened. 

My head spinning I said, “OK.”

Then I called technical support to install the modem.  The technician said I had gotten a modem at 50 mbps and was being billed for the higher speed of 100 mbps.  “Gosh no one in billing said this yet,” I said. 

LAW OF ATTRACTION SECRET:  Law of Non-Resistance.  At times when you resist the flow of events because they are upsetting or chaotic, you could be preventing spirit to work with you.

Then I called billing they did not see this and said to call back again in a couple of days.

I installed an Ethernet cable to my modem, since that was my first objective when I started this project.  It did not increase my Internet speed.  I installed a piece of software that was supposed to help with this.  This did not increase my speed either and I almost entered into a service contract with the company that sells that product, but realized I was being manipulated to buy something I did not need.

Finally, I went back to Comcast to ask if this speed is correct for the service I ordered.  They said you did not get the 50 mbps speed, you got an even lower speed, 25 mbps, the lowest speed they sell and you are being billed at that lower price per month without any delivery or installation charges on the invoice!

I was shocked.   How could I have ordered 100 mbps, picked up the modem, been billed for delivery when I picked it up, then told I was not billed for delivery but rather installation, then told I was supposed to be billed for delivery and that I again was, then told the speed I now had was the lowest they offered and the delivery and installations charges were not there? 

Mind blowing. 

Through all of this I had a secondary unrelated Comcast problem which lasted two days, hit my head on pointy object, which was excruciatingly painful and got into a rough spot with my sister over something unrelated.   Many times I was very tempted to get angry, shift my vibration to resistance, get all upset, huffing and puffing.

Instead, I held my composure.  I kept reminding myself about how a higher vibration keeps you in the flow of miracles.

As I sat there dumbfounded, attempting to integrate all these events, I began to realize.  Perhaps a little miracle had occurred.  Perhaps I did not need a faster Internet connection, which the radio provider suggested, against my initial suspicions.  That would have been rather expensive, too. 

Perhaps all I needed was a direct cable connection to stabilize my access to the internet. 

If I had resisted everything this steering would not have happened.  I would have pushed and pushed to get this and that.  Instead I just muddled along following the flow of events. 

Let’s see if the radio show improves now that I have a direct Ethernet cable connection.  If it doesn’t then I can upgrade.  Maybe spirit saved me some money by miraculously steering me to the basic speed instead of the higher speed.  We will see.
