Manifesting With The Law of Assumption

Manifesting with the Law of Assumption. Manifest conditions in your life using a powerful spiritual tool called the law of assumption.

This week I had a friend confide in me about how hurt she was by a severe family betrayal. Her inheritance had been taken from her by what she thought to be her loving and supportive relatives.

Instead of protecting what was hers, her inheritance had been given away to other members of the family, behind her back.

Now that she found out an entire waterfall of feelings about betrayal occurred in her. She had tried and was trying to get spiritual healing, but nothing worked.

I suggested she start using the manifesting and The Law of Attraction as an adjunct to her healing activities. As I drilled down into this subject, I discovered the powerful Law of Assumption.

The following description of this law, complete with an exercise in using it might possibly help you achieve healing and/or manifest goals in your life to which you have not been able.

Manifesting With The Law of Assumption

Neville Goddard, a mystic and metaphysical teacher, introduced a powerful principle known as the Law of Assumption. This law posits that reality is created by our assumptions.

By assuming the feeling of our desires being already fulfilled, we can manifest those desires into our physical world. According to Goddard, our imagination is the key tool in this process.

Origins and Philosophy

Neville Goddard was born in Barbados in 1905 and moved to the United States in his late teens. His teachings draw on esoteric Christianity, metaphysics, and the power of the human imagination. Central to his philosophy is the belief that imagination is God, and through it, we create our reality.

The Law of Assumption is a cornerstone of his teachings, emphasizing the importance of living from the end, as if our desires have already been fulfilled.

Core Principles – Manifesting With The Law of Assumption

Imagination Creates Reality: Goddard taught that our imagination is the creative force of the universe. By vividly imagining a scenario in which our desire is already fulfilled, we bring it into being.

Feeling is the Secret: It’s not enough to just imagine; one must feel as if the imagined scenario is already true. The emotional experience of the wish fulfilled is what impresses the subconscious mind and initiates the process of manifestation.

Living in the End: To manifest desires, one must assume the state of the wish fulfilled. This means thinking, feeling, and acting as if the desired outcome is already a reality.

Persistence: Consistent and persistent assumption of the desired state is necessary. The external world may not immediately reflect the change, but persistence in the assumption will eventually bring it into reality.

Self-Concept: Our self-concept or self-image plays a crucial role in what we manifest. To change our external circumstances, we must first change our internal assumptions about ourselves.

Practical Application to Manifest With The Law of Assumption

The Law of Assumption can be applied to any aspect of life, whether it’s career, relationships, health, or personal growth. The process involves:

Identify Your Desire: Clearly define what you want to manifest.

Construct a Scene: Create a short scene in your mind that implies your desire is already fulfilled. Make it as vivid and detailed as possible.

Enter the State: Relax and enter a drowsy, meditative state. This helps in impressing the subconscious mind.

Feel the Feeling: Immerse yourself in the scene and feel the emotions associated with the fulfillment of your desire. Feel the joy, satisfaction, and gratitude as if it’s happening right now.

Repeat Nightly: Perform this mental exercise nightly before sleep, and whenever you think about your desire during the day, assume it is already fulfilled.

Challenges and Overcoming Them – Manifesting With The Law of Assumption

Doubt and Fear: It’s natural to experience doubt and fear. Acknowledge these feelings, but don’t dwell on them. Return to the feeling of your wish fulfilled.

Patience: Manifestation might not happen overnight. Patience and persistence are key.

Disbelief: Start with smaller desires to build faith in the process. As you see results, your belief in the law will strengthen.

Exercise Using the Law of Assumption to Manifest Desires and Goals

Relaxation: Find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Take a few deep breaths, and allow your body and mind to relax.

Define Your Desire: Think about something you genuinely want to manifest in your life. It could be a new job, a loving relationship, improved health, or anything else that matters to you.

Construct a Scene: Visualize a short scene that implies your desire is already fulfilled. For example, if you want a new job, imagine yourself shaking hands with your new boss or celebrating with friends.

Enter the Scene: Close your eyes and immerse yourself in the scene. Use all your senses to make it as real as possible. Hear the sounds, see the colors, and feel the textures.

Feel the Emotions: Focus on the emotions you would feel if your desire were already realized. Feel the happiness, excitement, and gratitude. Let these emotions fill your entire being.

Stay in the Scene: Spend a few minutes in this state, fully absorbing the feeling of your wish fulfilled. If your mind wanders, gently bring it back to the scene.

Repeat Nightly: Perform this exercise every night before you go to sleep. Consistency is crucial for impressing the subconscious mind.

By consistently applying this exercise, you align your subconscious mind with your desires, leveraging the Law of Assumption to bring your dreams into reality.
