MAP: The Family Relationship Map for Mediumship Discernment
SUMMARY. In this class we will discuss and work on:
- BOUNDARIES. Introduce the concept of personal boundaries integral to success with mediumship. You need to be balanced and have healthy boundaries to work in mediumship. Article HERE.
- ISSUES. Ask for any issues students need to discuss this week.
- MAP. After a hypnotic introduction teacher will introduce the Family Relationship Map for Mediumship Ddiscernment. We will work with each other in class practicing how to use the map.

GENERAL PREPARATION
- PLAN to ARRIVE at least 5 minutes EARLY.
- DO YOUR OWN 15 to 30 minute MEDITATION beforehand.
- Get your PAD & PEN READY to record ideas.
- Teacher plays MEDITATION MUSIC located HERE.
DO MEDITATION & PRAYER
- OPEN BODY POSITION. All are instructed to go into open body position (uncross arms and legs), breathe slowly from abdomen.
- PRAYER. “Father Mother God, all beings of highest love and light please come to me now for the sessions for today. Please allow messages to be 100% accurate 100% of the time. Please allow us only to work in highest love, light and protected space possible. Please provide automatic, instantaneous and energizing connections to and disconnections from spirit, sitters and me.
- (PRAYER for OTHERSIDE CONNECTIONS). [Needed if some students want to do mediumship during the message service. ] All souls on the Otherside please provide the following 5 pieces of evidence so that the sitter will know it is you. Please provide your correct name, appearance, cause of passing, relationship to sitter and personal messages. Please send pictures to my eyes, words to my ears, feeling to my body and knowing to my brain. Please go up and down vibrations to find the right connection as needed. Please ask your guides and my guides for help as needed. Dear Spirit Guides please remove all blocks in the sitter, soul and/or medium for optimized connections.
- INTENTION. Teacher asks students to ask they receive accurate messages for themselves and others in today’s exercises.
- ENERGY CONNECTION. Teacher does energy connection. “On next exhale of breath, please send me (teacher) your energy.” An energy connection is done by visualizing all participant’s energy blending into one field.
EXERCISE
PLAYSHOP 3, Course 4. Mediumship, Claircognizance. Family Relationship chart.
REMINDER: Get your pad and pen ready to jot down your ideas.
PREPARATION. Stare at this hypnotic wheel for 1 minutes (teacher times this) to get you in a deeper trance before continuing.
MAP Family Relationships.
CONCEPT: The Family Relationship Map for Mediumship Discernment will help spirit work with you during sessions. Each symbol you create increases your ability to get messages from spirit. It is like creating your library for spirit to access.
Teacher Reviews the Map.
Teacher demonstrates the Map using a student in class as volunteer.
EXERCISE 1. Teacher assigns one student to be sitter for everyone in class. This student is assigned another student to be his or her sitter.
Using the map as a guide teacher gently guides students to discern energy in areas around the sitter which reflect souls in spirit for the sitter.
DISCUSS.
EXERCISE 2, 3 and 4. Teacher reassigns partners in class. Discussion after receiving.
DISCUSS RESULTS.
BREAKOUT ROOMS EXERCISE: Try to connect to someone on other side for partner using Family Relationship map as a guide and get answers to these questions.
TEACHER ASKS CLASS: Write down these ideas before continuing.

- What COLOR was their hair when they were young? Elaborate on hair.
- LOCATION: Where were they when they died? Home or hospital or wherever? Elaborate.
