Yesterday had an amazing Medical Intuitive session. A client with abnormal uterine bleeding was told by spirit through me her illness was caused by elevated blood sugar levels (pre-diabetic).

I thought, “I never heard that connection before, especially in someone so young,” but dutifully delivered the message. (My client is only 24 years old.)

Since my client had all the logical tests and this was a mystery illness, we accepted the message.

Much to my surprise after Googling her exact symptoms I discovered that diabetes can be a cause of abnormal uterine bleeding.  Some results from this search are below.
She was told by spirit that she needed to stabilize her blood sugar levels by eating breakfast which she confirmed she did not, eat small protein snacks through the day and to get her blood sugar levels checked.

I hope spirit was wrong, because my client is so young.

However, even if this was an incorrect diagnosis, the validation about the medical connection is amazing enough.

If you ever doubt spirit don’t. It always gets it right. :)

What causes abnormal periods?

Abnormal bleeding is common. Causes of irregular bleeding can include pregnancy, obesity, uncontrolled diabetes, thyroid problems, side effects from medicines, and cancer. Very heavy periods may be caused by thyroid problems, bleeding disorders, and noncancerous growths in your uterus. Many women have very heavy periods without a known cause.

These are the reasons for abnormal vaginal bleeding:

1) Hormonal imbalance: Birth control pills, thyroid glands, dysfunctional ovaries, intense exercises, change in eating habits, etc contribute to hormonal imbalances, which can cause vaginal bleeding.
2) Fibroids: This is another common cause of vaginal bleeding. Uterine fibroids, polyps and cysts that are non-cancerous can also cause vaginal bleeding.
3) Cancer: Cancer of the uterus, ovaries, cervix and vagina can induce vaginal bleeding.
4) Infection: Inflammation and bleeding may be the result of infection to the reproductive organs.
5) Pregnancy: Complications during pregnancy can cause vaginal bleeding. If the egg is fertilised in the fallopian tube, it can cause bleeding; this condition is also called ectopic pregnancy.
6) Miscarriage: This process can cause vaginal bleeding.
7) Contraceptives: Female contraceptives that involves inserting a device in the vagina can cause vaginal bleeding.
8) Diabetes: Diabetes can also cause bleeding in some cases.
9) Stress: Stress is another ingredient for vaginal bleeding.
