When I was younger I was told by my two artist parents to not pursue the arts. Rather than be sucked into a highly subjective and competitive field (art), it would be best to choose to do work that pays well, has a pension and is secure.

The irony of this is that both my parents succeeded in the arts, all their children were talented in creative ways and yet we were told to not pursue what we genetically inherited, were suited to do and loved doing.
So what did I do? I pursued the corporate career idea, thinking that must be correct, because I certainly did not like it!
Oh, I did alright. I retired early from a position at Microsoft with what I thought to be a large sum of money.
Within ten years of retiring I had lost all that money in bad investments, yet I suffered from an even greater loss.
I did not know who I was, what I came to earth to do, nor what to do about it.
Strangely enough, the cosmic forces always at play, forced me to fall back on my genetic pension.
I followed one of my creative passions forward, almost without hesitation. I began to develop an inherited ability to “see” psychically.
Strangely enough, because my soul purpose was in alignment with this career, I attracted clients easily. I took to the work like a duck to water, as if I had come in at a soul level with this development already intact.
Strangely enough, one of my mother’s creative abilities besides visual arts, was psychic metaphysical subjects. She was so well known in her circles she even did readings for some famous people.
My father was very psychic as well, even though he denied it.
At times my father and I after meeting a new person at the same time, would later in a sort of psychic channeling state go on and on about this new person as if we had a telepathic link into their consciousness.
Now I realize that my entire life’s biggest issue or problem was not knowing, and therefore not endorsing, my true talents. This led to diminished self esteem.
When you do not know who you are, you do not value yourself. Your sense of worthiness is infringed upon.
So getting this right, knowing your soul purpose, can elevate not only your prosperity quotient, but as well, your sense of worthiness in every aspect of your life.
Your relationships function the best when you have this sense of worth. All things flow better in your life. You are led more as you lean into your true nature, rather than fight it.

The first step to know your soul purpose is to ask yourself, “What is the biggest problem I have had this life time?”
Whatever this problem is was planned for you by your soul to overcome this life time.
Your biggest problem is your purpose!
So for example, if you were born into a home where your creative parents told you to pursue a secure job with a pension which would put you to sleep, your soul purpose will probably be finding your unique gifts and talents then expressing them in lucrative and productive service to others.
When I started affirming “I am using my natural gifts and talents in lucrative and productive service to others,” the floodgates of prosperity opened for me.
I did not become a millionaire, no. I became a BIGionnaire. I started living life bigger, on my terms. Things made sense to me.
I enjoyed everything more. My sense of identity formulated. I became prosperous on so many levels, money being less important as the final goal in the end.
Most of the world’s most financially successful individuals did not get there by pursuing money as their main goal. No.
Most pursued their passions, what they would do whether they were paid or not. They had a healthy interest in what they were doing, so becoming successful was more of a given.
Think about this. When you come into earth you are bringing in other life times where you pursued and developed skills. Each life time we come in to continue our growth.
So of course your soul purpose will be an extension of this theme.
If you would like to discover your soul purpose so you can shift from fighting through life to swimming with the current of your soul plan, your life’s flow, here are some steps.
- List what it is you have been fighting with this life time.
- Now list the opposite of this.
- This is your soul purpose.
At times it is very difficult to “see” this for yourself. You might need to go to a therapist for a while to figure it out.
You might choose to go to an astrologer, numerologist, clairvoyant medium, akashic reader, etc.
