MY STORY. As I mentioned in the other weight loss during peri-menopause article, I was ill often.
My line of work as a medical medium, spirit and manifesting medium is very demanding. Quite often after working with clients I can feel depleted.
I need to take a lot of rest, and balance by having fun too.
In addition, as a single woman over 60 I still like to be as attractive as I can. Hope springs eternal even in the area of love.
So, when I accidentally lost 15 pounds of weight when I began to eat an anti-inflammatory diet, I was surprised. I ate more, exercised the same amount, yet I was easily, effortlessly losing weight.
An anti inflammatory diet consists of fiber rich foods, such as fruits, vegetables and whole grains. I actually went vegetarian and was eating brown rice, beans, legumes, whole grain pasta, salads, etc.
I did watch the amount of oil and fat I ate as this combined with starchy foods, even if they are complex carbohydrates, is deadly to your body’s metabolism.
Fat and Starch create a bloated you right away! :)
To my surprise I felt full and ate a lot.
